Restricted Merchandise
Due to international and local regulations, some products, by their very nature, cannot be transported and handled by conventional means, so importing them can generate significant additional costs.
We ask that you consult us in advance about the items listed here.
Explosives. Pressurized containers (including shock absorbers), gunpowder, pepper spray, ammunition, and firearms. Flammable gases, flammable liquids (including lubricants and greases), batteries containing chemicals, lighters, any liquid primarily containing alcohol, chemicals, and cleaning solids. Their classification:
- Class 1 Explosives
- Class 2 Gas, including gas-pressure shock absorbers.*
- Class 3 Flammable liquids, including perfumes.*
- Class 4 Flammable Solids
- Class 5 Oxidizing substances or organic peroxides
- Class 6 Toxic (poisonous) and infectious substances
- Class 7 Radioactive Materials
- Class 8 Corrosives, vehicle batteries.
- Class 9 Miscellaneous dangerous goods.
*For perfumes and shock absorbers, they are dispatched once a month. This service has an additional charge to normal import costs, for consolidated handling of restricted products. The handling amount is: Shock absorbers -Invoices from $0.00 to $250.00: $15.00 +VAT. -Invoices from $251.00 to $500.00: $25.00 +VAT. -Invoices from $501.00 and up: $50.00 +VAT. Perfumes and Splash -Perfumes and splashes of 1 to 3 units $10.00 +VAT. -Perfumes and splashes of 4 to 6 units $20.00 +VAT. Airbags -Airbags per unit: $20.00 +VAT. Belts -Belts per unit: $20.00 +VAT. Batteries -Batteries from $0.00 to $50.00: $10.00 +VAT. -Batteries from $51.00 to $100.00: $15.00 +VAT. -Batteries from $101.00 to $500.00: $25.00 +VAT. -Batteries from $501.00 and up: $50.00 +VAT.
